Less Than 2 Weeks to Go

We will be leaving on January 10th on the Pacific Princess. The ship holds 600 passengers and is stopping in approximately 40 ports and will be at sea for about 55 days. We depart from Florida en route to Grand Cayman , San Blas, through the Panama Canal down to Peru and then across the Pacific.

I'm trying to cut my list of things to take, but am not having much luck. Thus far, I have listed practically everything in my closet. It's not easy! We are only allowed 2/50 lb . bags along with 1 carry on ea. The weather will be mostly warm-hot with three weeks of cool temperatures.

We made arrangements to have lunch with a couple from New York in Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon), Viet Nam. We met them through a long-time friend in Florida and have spoken several times. They are also going around the world, however will be on another ship. We also are meeting a friend from Zakynthos, the island in Greece we visited last year. He is flying to Athens to spend the day with us. Other friends we met on a trip to England, Ireland and Scotland about 15 years ago that live in Brisbane, Australia, are flying to Sydney to meet us . We are so looking forward to seeing them.

Getting very nervous...only 13 days to go.
