AT SEA, Friday, April 4

We have now entered the Gulf of Suez. There are numerous oil rigs on either side of us and we have been passing quite a few oil tankers also. Egypt borders Libya to the west, Sudan to the south and the Gaza Strip and Israel to the east. The northern coast borders the Mediterranean Sea and the eastern coast borders the Red Sea. Tomorrow we transit the Suez Canal and we then stop in Port Said. We will have another sea day, then stop in Athens where our friend from Zakynthos, Tony & Anna, will meet us. Trip is winding down and it's starting to get cool. Time to pack all my summer clothes.
